Mangas were not always as popular as today. In 1990,
they were almost unknown to Non-Japanese.
Today, there are thousands of mangas! Many of them can be downloaded ... Well, I am quite picky what I like about mangas, and comics as well. They should have good graphics and they should tell a story... Hal Foster´s Prince Valiant series is still unbeaten, IMHO ... Here are some Japanese magas I liked: |

In an end time (civilization had been totally destroyed long ago, and life is all about sheer survival),
Mother Sarah is searching her three lost kids. She has many enemies to fight and many ordeals to cope with,
but this is what makes the legend ...
... and as legendary are the graphics, indeed! This manga was translated into English and German, too. |
A Japanese friend sent those to me :)
These manga were made in Taiwan (by the excellent Tsai Chih Chung), and translated into Japanese. |
